About
Policy, ideas, and building in public
A public policy consultant making policy easier to digest, through explainers, charts, and interactive data.
Who I am
I am a public policy consultant with three years in the industry. I trained as an economist at King's College London and as a policy evaluator during my master's at Oxford, where my dissertation was on universal basic income.
Most of my work is in social policy, currently labour and education, though my interests run across public policy more broadly. Alongside that, my aim is to make policy easier to digest, and to explore the emerging themes reshaping the world, from heightened geopolitics to AI. This site is where I do that in the open: explainers, charts, and interactive data pieces like the AI exposure map, plus my channel Tea Drinking Policy.
What I'm exploring
How AI is reshaping work and what it means for different countries, and how to make rigorous data (like the ILO's global exposure index) genuinely legible. Alongside that, building a steady publishing loop across writing, charts, and video.
